Laura Harrigan of the Sundance Catalog (yeah, the one founded by Robert Redford!) reached out to me to give her a hand in freshening up the catalog’s logo. The existing logo was simply typeset in a common font 20 or so years ago and it was feeling a little dated, cold and unrefined compared to the lush, artistic design of the catalog. I ended up drawing a completely new (but still recognizable to customers) logo that felt warmer, more human and calligraphic to work better in situ. Robert Redford!
