The Hollywood Reporter

Shanti Marlar hired me to develop a new logo for the 2010 relaunch of The Hollywood Reporter. My goal was to create a design that represented the maturity of the publication without looking quaint or old. I did this by deploying a lettering style that was frequently used in the logos of mid-twentieth century entertainment, celebrity and glamor magazines. This style is still popular today so it acts as a visual bridge between then and now.
